If you truly want one of a kind pieces in your jewellery collection and wardrobe, I suggest that you start shopping at your local vintage or consignment store. The other day I found this stunning oversized interlocked necklace at a nearby Value Village (or as I like to affectionately call it, VV Boutique).
I love statement necklaces and this one in particular has a really vintage appearance that I think is really unique. Without a doubt, one best part of wearing vintage items is knowing that there is a slim chance that you will run into anyone else who has the same item as you.

I'm really curious to know what other people think about vintage shopping. I know many people detest it because they don't like treasure hunting for used goods, but I take great pride in finding quality items or one-of-a-kind pieces for ridiculously cheap prices. One time, I even found an authentic monogram Luis Vuitton wallet at a vintage store (a lucky fluke, yes, but every budget-conscious fashionista's dream). With that in mind, what do you think of thrifting?

Lovely outfit. I am new to vintage shopping I have yet to purchase something vintage but I have been checking out my local vintage stores. I think it can be really rewarding finding a good piece with some history behind it :)

I think thrifting can get you amazing deals. I was just reading a blog where this girl bought gorgeous yellow Aldo pumps for just 5 bucks, at salvation army. Your necklace is another example of just such a deal! Love your looks! :)
